Feadship sportfish yacht Patriot for sale
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by Frits De Voogt, she was delivered in 1984 as one of the very few sportsfishermen to be built by the yard. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins comprising a master suite forward and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
In 2005 she was put through a 15 month refit at Derecktor Shipyard in Florida. She was stripped back to a bare metal hull and refurbished from the bottom up with the aim of creating an ergonomic, safe, extremely quiet and state-of-the-art 'one-off' sport yacht.
But Patriot is more than a sports yacht, offering the very best in comfort and luxury from her zero speed gyro stabilisers to her high gloss cherry interior. When she splashed back into the water in 2007 Patriot had had well over $10 million invested in her and was practically a new yacht.
In the main saloon, to port is a comfortable seating area and to starboard is a comfortable settee. A custom overhead lowering 48-inch flatscreen HD television retracts down out of the overhead for easy viewing. During the refit, incredible attention was paid to the sound-proofing of the interior.
Twin 1,800hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 20 knots topping out at 26 knots.
Patriot is asking $5,900,000.
