Further price drop on explorer yacht Maverick
by Malcolm Maclean
The 42 metre motor yacht Maverick, listed for sale by Jeromy Mold at Worth Avenue Yachts, has had a further $250,000 price reduction.
Maverick was constructed in fibreglass and launched by Sterling Shipyards in 1988. Since then she has undergone two complete refits, in 2010 and in 2013.
Maverick has a timeless style, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating throughout her living areas, creating an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. This yacht for sale offers impressive leisure and entertainment amenities, making her an ideal charter yacht with many spaces for socialising and entertaining friends and family.
Four luxurious cabins are able to accommodate up to eight guests on board. Maverick features a full-beam owner’s suite located forward on the main deck. This spacious cabin has an extensive seating area and provides complete privacy. Three additional cabins offer guests supreme comfort while cruising and all cabins have entertainment systems and en-suite bathrooms.
Maverick has a luxurious sundeck with impressive views. Al fresco dining is possible on the aft deck and there is a swim platform that can launch the yacht’s array of water toys, which includes a Nautica 19 RIB with 200hp Yamaha outboard, two Sunfish sailing dinghies, three kayaks and numerous sets of scuba diving gear.
Her twin 890hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Maverick is now asking $3,650,000.
