41 Metre Hargrave Motor Yacht Dreamer Sold

The 41.5 metre motor yacht Dreamer, listed for sale by Trevor Carroll and Stuart Larsen at Fraser, has been sold in-house with the buyer introduced by Neal Esterly.

Built in GRP by Hargrave Custom Yachts to a design by Jack Hargrave, she was delivered in 2010 as a raised pilothouse yacht and has had only one previous owner. An interior in high gloss walnut by Yacht Interiors by Shelley accommodates up to 13 guests in five cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite, three VIP suites and a twin, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities

The main saloon has a settee and club chairs to port, further club chairs to starboard, a full bar and ice maker, and an entertainment centre including a Marantz 55-inch television screen with a surround sound system. Forward is a dining area seating eight guests flanked to port and starboard by floor to ceiling cabinets storing glassware, china and linen. Further forward still, the country style kitchen has a settee and table for informal snacks.

The aft deck has built-in upholstered seating, a table with a teak inlaid top, an ice maker and a fridge enabling al fresco dining in comfort. Up on the flybridge, outdoor life continues apace, with a gas barbecue grill, bar, fridge, Jacuzzi and a covered lounging area. The foredeck features seating around a custom coffee table, sun pads and parasols.

Her top speed is 18 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3,300 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from two 1,825hp Caterpillar C-32-ACERT diesel engines.

Her Fraser broker, Neal Esterly, comments: "It took a great deal of cooperation among all involved. This included banks, insurance providers, and sub-contractors to complete this deal. It was doable but very trying and took a lot of patience from everyone. The process was longer than normal, but well worth it once we crossed the finish line."

Dreamer was asking $8,950,000.
