The 36.1-metre explorer yacht Zulu, listed for sale with Henry Smith of Cecil Wright & Partners, has received a €500,000 price drop. The reduction comes days ahead of her attendance at the Cannes Yachting Festival next week.
Built in steel and aluminium by Brazilian yard Inace Yachts, Zulu was designed throughout by British designer Michael Kirschstein. According to her broker, she has been "impeccably maintained" by her current owner, "far exceeding the typical investment required". Recent works included the installation of new generators and the overhaul of her engines.
Zulu accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam master suite, a VIP cabin, two double cabins and one twin. There are further quarters for a crew of seven.
The main saloon boasts full-height windows and fully-opening sliding doors, with leather sofas lying adjacent to the dining area with its contemporary table. Her bridge deck lounge also offers plenty of seats, alongside a bar, mimicking the sunpads on deck.
All of her living spaces boast "a harmonious fusion of indoor and outdoor spaces", according to the broker, to give the impression of increased size.
The expansive beach club sports umbrellas and beanbags for relaxation and an extendable swim platform. Wood steps lead up to the main deck aft, where guests can unwind atop sunpads, sofas or at the eight-person marble table. Zulu has a colourful sundeck, which features a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads and a wet bar.
Cecil Wright partner and Monaco office director, Henry Smith commented: "Zulu offers exceptional value, combining global exploration capability with a strong charter revenue potential. She provides both immediate enjoyment and long-term returns. Viewing Zulu is highly recommended to truly appreciate her potential."
Twin 716hp Caterpillar engines give the 229GT yacht for sale a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 12.3 knots. She has a range of up to 5,200 nautical miles at eight knots and 3,374 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Zulu will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival, now asking €6,950,000 with VAT paid.
