13 July 2023 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 36.5-metre ISA motor yacht Matsu has been sold with Thibault Roi and Peter Brown of Burgess representing the seller and Doka Yachting introducing the buyer.

Built in 2007 to MCA compliance by Italian shipyard ISA Yachts, Matsu was delivered as an ISA 120 Sport and had a refit in 2022. She was designed by Italian studio Vallicelli & Co with a striking metallic grey hull and sporty profile. Tailored towards Mediterranean island-hopping, she has a draft of just 1.5 metres.

Matsu was asking €3,950,000 with VAT paid.

Matsu's large flybridge has a helm station forward with the rest of the space dedicated to entertaining with friends and family. There is a bar, two curved sofas beneath the shade of the hard top, and a raised sun pad with hidden plumbing installed for a Jacuzzi to be fitted. Another sun pad aft, a Teppanyaki grill and a DJ station complete the amenities offered on the sun deck.

Inside, Italian designer Cristiano Gatto created a light and earthy feel with a neutral colour palette of cream leathers and dark matte-finished woods. Curved glass doors lead from the aft deck to an open-plan saloon with a circular dining table on entry and a bar and lounge forward.

Accommodation on board is for eight guests across four cabins, including a split-level owner’s suite positioned forward on the main deck. The remaining cabins can be found on the lower deck comprising a full-beam VIP suite, double cabin and twin cabin, with further accommodation sleeping a crew of six.

A large tender garage is positioned forward of the engine room on the lower deck and the six-metre Castoldi tender is launched through a shell door to starboard. The yacht also has two side garages for Jet Skis and additional storage for toys.

Powered by three 2,400hp MTU diesel engines, Matsu can reach an impressive top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots with a maximum range of 550 nautical miles.

Matsu was asking €3,950,000 with VAT paid.
