The 26.7-metre Jongert sailing yacht Ithaka has received a €900,000 price reduction to her listing with Manfred Haas of Haas International.
Delivered by the Dutch yard in 2007 to a design by Doug Peterson, she was built in aluminium as the fifth hull in the yard's successful 2700M series. Her naval architecture comes from Van Oossanen Naval Architects who developed a wing keel and elliptic balance rudder "ensuring heightened performance while sailing," according to her broker.
Lloyd’s classed, she has a modern interior in pear wood. Her broker notes that she is a "sanctuary of tranquillity" below deck, owing to the "floating" interior design that eliminates noise and vibration. Her main saloon offers a relaxing lounge and formal dining space, with a galley placed forward to ensure both privacy and seamless service.
She accommodates six guests in three cabins, including a master suite and two guest cabins.
The deck has been carefully designed for safe and easy operation. From behind the two steering wheels, there is an unobstructed view around the yacht. In front of the steering positions, a large outside seating area with two small cocktail tables offers a great leisure area.
Furthermore, her deckhouse is a versatile and much-appreciated area. It can be closed up completely for all-round protection in colder climates, while the two aft starboard and portside windows can also be lowered to allow the breeze to flow through. The starboard table can moreover be lowered to create a much-appreciated lounge bed.
Under power, a 257hp Scania engine gives the yacht for sale a cruising speed of eight knots, while bow and stern thrusters are in place to guarantee effortless manoeuvring.
Ithaka is now asking €1,950,000 with VAT paid.
