The 114.2-metre Lloyd Werft superyacht Luna has joined the market with Paul Moran and Lidia Tsareva of Eastwind Yachts.

Delivered in 2010 with naval architecture in-house by the German yard, the steel and aluminium yacht is known as the world's second-largest expedition yacht. Exterior design comes from the boards of Newcruise, while interior is the work of Donald Starkey. Last refitted in 2015/16, Luna is currently undergoing an extensive refit.

Located in Hamburg, Germany, Luna is asking €270,000,000

Accommodation is for up to 18 guests across nine cabins, including a master suite on the owner's deck with an owner's lounge, with further provision for a crew of 51. A passenger lift services all floors from the cabin deck to the observation deck.

A particular highlight is Luna's huge, famous 12-metre by five-metre pool flanked by sunpads. Aft of this is the raised section of the main deck, which was added in Luna’s refit and helps create distinction on the massive platform. Luna also has twin MCA-certified helipads – one forward and one aft – with a fire suppression system and full nighttime landing certification thanks to an onboard helicopter landing, maintenance and fire team.

On the bridge deck, there is an owner's private office opposite a conference room; it is complemented by a saloon with sofa seating and formal dining for 18 guests and additional al fresco dining aft.

In terms of entertainment, onboard amenities include a dancefloor, cinema, beauty salon, beach club, gym and Jacuzzi.

The beauty salon and beach club are found on the lower deck with an integrated spa that includes a steam bath, plunge pool and sauna. Featuring a fold-down balcony with sun loungers, the dedicated gym area is found to port by the water's edge – the perfect spot for working out with a view – while two spacious garages are to port for storing tenders or smaller boats.

The 5655GT yacht for sale benefits from an ice-class hull for exploring extreme environments and is powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system, giving her a cruising speed of 17 knots and a top speed of 22 knots. She offers a range of 9,500 nautical miles, and she is fitted with four zero-speed stabilisers to help with comfort both underway and at anchor.

Located in Hamburg, Germany, Luna is asking €270,000,000.

The yacht is listed for sale following the news that the ex-wife of a Russian oligarch dropped a negligence claim involving Luna.
