by Malcolm Maclean
The 29.57 metre explorer yacht Miss B Haven, listed for sale by Whit Kirtland at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales, has been sold to a direct client.
Built in GRP by Chinese yard Marlow Yachts to a design by David Marlow, Miss B Haven was delivered in 2014 as a Norseman model. Her interior in high gloss burl woods accommodates six guests in three cabins configured as a master suite, VIP suite and a twin, all with entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities while a further two cabins sleep up to four crewmembers.
The main saloon comes with large windows offering excellent views, while to starboard is an L-shaped couch facing an entertainment centre to port featuring a 52-inch television screen on a rise and fall mechanism. Forward is a full wet bar with a fridge, wine cooler and a black granite counter top, and there are two custom recliners upholstered in leather. Forward of the galley is the lower helm position with two Stidd helm chairs and a breakfast table and settee to port.
On the aft deck are two high gloss teak tables with comfortable seating for eight guests dining al fresco, with stairs leading up to the command bridge. Up on the command bridge there is a double helm position forward while aft is a comfortable entertainment area, with built-in seating, a table and a bar with a fridge. Twin Caterpillar C-18 1,800hp diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 24 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Miss B Haven was asking $3,950,000.
