The 47.45 new-build motor yacht, currently dubbed the Cape Hawk 690, has been listed for sale by Eric Trupheme and Anton Foord at Ocean Independence.
Designed by Laurent Giles the new yacht will be built in steel and aluminium by Hawk Yachts to Bureau Veritas ice class with delivery in 2021. Accommodation is currently configured for up to 13 guests in six cabins, although the final layout would be decided by a new owner. All guest cabins will have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters will sleep 11 staff aboard this yacht for sale.
Hawk Yachts claims the concept would “dramatically reduce costs for build management and servicing” and be capable of undertaking a 52-week charter season unlike many yachts.
Hawk Yachts chief executive Matthias Bosse said, “This approach allows owners to run the yacht as a profitable business. The super-rich are no longer content to own trophy vessels that sit in harbour for 45 weeks of the year. Increasingly, we are seeing a desire to live and breathe experiences that are only accessible to the select few.”
Twin Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines will power her to a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of 6,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 9 knots. For added comfort and safety, she will be fitted with gyroscopic zero speed stabilisers.
The Cape Hawk 690 is asking €23,500,000.
