10 April 2026 • Written by Lucy Pughe-Morgan

A new central agency has been announced on the 30-metre Yachting Developments sailing yacht Antares III, now listed for sale with Daniele Botticini and Marcia Lippa of Wind Yachts.

Delivered in 2011, the sailing yacht was built by the New Zealand-based yard to a design by Dixon Yacht Design, which was responsible for the naval architecture and exterior. Meanwhile, her open and airy interiors are the work of Rhoades Young Design.

Accommodation is for up to six guests, comprising three cabins all with en suites, including a full-beam owner's suite with private rear deck access. The owner's cabin has light carpeting and cream leather wall panels, shifting to a more relaxed tone. Bright, spacious and comfortable, the area works for both relaxation and work. The elegant foyer enhances privacy, separating the owner's cabin from the guest accommodations.

Further provision has been made for four crew.

Stepping on board, guests are welcomed with seating on the aft deck and additional informal seating on the foredeck.

The upper and lower saloon flow into each other, providing ample space for guests. The upper saloon, with a bar and navigation station, connects the outdoor areas. The lower saloon, with its L-shaped cream leather sofas, creates a more intimate ambience that can be transformed into a dining setup, highlighted by a high-gloss walnut table.

The elevated pilothouse provides excellent all-around visibility, while the opening windows create a social layout.

Fitted with a 42.7-metre high-modulus Southern Spar carbon mast, her rig features a furling boom and EC6 continuous carbon rigging, which was replaced in 2021. This setup enables her to harness an impressive 4,876 square feet of sail area when sailing upwind. Her gross tonnage rests at 107GT with a 7.35-metre beam.

Antares III reaches top speeds of 12 knots and boasts a maximum range of 3,600 nautical miles when navigating at cruising speed, thanks to her Scania diesel engine.

Currently located in Southern Tyrrhenian, Italy, Antares III is asking €6,850,000.
