This week sees the start of the 2017 Miami boat shows, with a number of luxury yachts going on display as part of Yachts Miami Beach, Simply Sail Miami, the Miami International Boat Show.

Our round-up of the best yachts for sale starts with_ _Watercolours, which was built in aluminium by US yard Trinity. Launched in 1991 she has had several refits, most recently in 2007. Accommodation is for eight guests in a full-beam master suite, VIP suite and two identical double cabins, all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, five crew are accommodated in three cabins.

Heartbeat was built in GRP by Hargrave Custom Yachts, with delivery in 2009 and has been cared for by a full-time captain and mate. Accommodation finished in cherry wood is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite aft, a VIP suite forward and port and starboard twins fitted with Pullman berths, and all cabins have marble en-suite bathroom facilities.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five cabins including a main-deck full-beam master suite.

Cocktails was built in aluminium by US yard Trinity Yachts to ABS class with delivery in 2004 and went back to the yard for a multimillion dollar refit in 2012. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five cabins including a main-deck master suite, while below there are two identical doubles to port and starboard, a further double and a twin with a Pullman berth.

Aldabra was built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Codecasa to Lloyd's class and is MCA compliant with delivery in 2011 as the first in the yard’s Vintage series. Her layout accommodates 12 guests in a full-beam master and VIP cabin on the main deck, and four lower deck guest cabins — two doubles and two twins. Square windows, a vertical wheelhouse, and white and silver paintwork give her a distinctly modern look.

The 55.47 metre state-of-the-art Feadship yacht Madsummer is offered for sale at Yachts Miami Beach through Moran Yacht & Ship. Launched in 2005 and refitted in 2015, she features custom interiors by Laura Sessa Design with accommodation for ten guests in five spacious cabins. Star features include her numerous exterior spaces, with plenty of room for soaking up the sun or enjoying a meal al fresco. Step One was built by Dutch yard Amels in steel and aluminium and delivered in 2012 as the first in the yard's Limited Edition 180 series. A custom interior by Laura Sessa utilises a colour palette that focuses on creams and whites, with maple wood and white onyx contrasted against black details. Accommodation is for up to 11 guests in five cabins including a master suite on the main deck, three doubles and a twin, all with en-suite bathroom facilities.
