A Pershing 8X model named Cucumber is now under new ownership with Matías Argüelles at Ventura Yachts securing the sale on behalf of both the buyer and seller.
The 25.6-metre Pershing was one of the newest pre-owned 8X models available on the market when she was listed for sale in July 2022. The 8X model is the second largest in Pershing's X generation of high-speed sports yachts and was designed by Fulvio di Simone.
Sliding glass doors open fully so the aft deck and main saloon become a single indoor-outdoor space. Natural light fills the saloon through large windows that run the length of the deck, with a low-slung U-shaped sofa on entry, a dining area forward and a helm station forward still. The interior is finished in smoked grey oak paired with whites and taupes that run throughout.
Accommodation is for up to six guests in three cabins on the lower deck: a master suite amidships, a double and a twin. There are two additional cabins for crew.
Cucumber features a large fan of sun pads aft with a lazarette and tender garage hidden beneath. A second fan of sun pads is found at the foredeck with a large forward-facing sofa, while a third sun lounging space is located up top on the flybridge.
Power comes from a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines delivering a top speed of 48 knots and a cruising range of 310 nautical miles at 41 knots.
