News in overnight from Northrop & Johnson of a €1.5 million price reduction on their listing for sale, the 47m sailing yacht Andromeda la Dea.

Built by famed Italian superyacht yard Perini Navi to ABS class and MCA compliant, she was delivered in 1990 as the ultimate sailing yacht and went on to become the first of the yard's yachts to circumnavigate the globe.

She had a thorough refit in 2006, including a flybridge extension with Jacuzzi, plus new engines and generators. A further upgrade was carried out in 2011 and Andromeda la Dea is now the only 47m Perini Navi with carbon roller furling booms.

A large main saloon boasts a cosy fireplace, comfortable seating and a 50 inch television screen with surround sound for a complete cinematic experience and forward is a formal dining area for eight guests. Outdoors, the aft deck is perfect for alfresco dining while the flybridge has a sunbathing area, barbecue grill, bar, custom Jacuzzi and dining for eight guests.

Andromeda la Dea accommodates eight guests in a master suite, two double staterooms and a twin cabin, all equipped with flat screen televisions, Crestron remote controls and en suite showers.

Andromeda la Dea is now down from €10.5 million to €9 million.
