47m Perini Navi Andromeda La Dea sold following “unlimited budget” rebuild

The 47-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht Andromeda La Dea has been sold in an in-house deal at Edmiston. Bruce Brakenhoff represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction, with Mike Orchard also involved in the sale on the seller side.

Originally delivered by the Italian yard in 1990, the 304GT sailing yacht completed an extensive three-year “unlimited budget” rebuild earlier this year before joining the market in January. According to her broker, every system and major piece of equipment was replaced or comprehensively overhauled.

Andromeda La Dea was last asking €24,950,000

Described as carrying the “soul of legend,” her timeless Perini exterior profile was retained in the rebuild. The project also included a complete interior redesign by Guillaume Rolland of Liaigre, resulting in a refined, contemporary aesthetic heavily defined by warm wooden panelling.

Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across six cabins in a newly configured layout, including a full-beam owner’s suite with a king-sized bed, a VIP cabin, two doubles, an on-deck guest cabin and a twin cabin with upper and lower berths. Crew accommodation is for eight.

Outdoor spaces were refreshed with new furniture on the cockpit and flybridge, a fixed, fully enclosed awning on the aft deck, and a Jacuzzi, while the flybridge was redesigned for entertaining.

Technically, the yacht was also fully updated. She now benefits from a new sail inventory, including Nirvana spars with hydraulic carbon in-boom furling and rod rigging serviced through to 2030, alongside a full suite of brand-new North 3Di sails.

Onboard systems were also upgraded throughout, with a new AV network, triple Starlink connectivity, enhanced IT infrastructure, and state-of-the-art navigation and communication equipment.

The generators of the motor yacht were fully rebuilt by Northern Lights, and the twin 500kW Caterpillar engines zero-houred, producing a top speed of 13 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

Andromeda La Dea was last asking €24,950,000.
