Price drop on Tough Brothers motor yacht The Goose

20 April 2021By Malcolm Maclean

The 45 metre classic Tough Brothers motor yacht The Goose,  listed for sale with Camper & Nicholsons, has had a price reduction of €500,000.

Built to Lloyds class by UK shipyard Tough Brothers, The Goose was launched in 1987 as Brave Goose - the second yacht by the same name belonging to the late Sir Donald Gosling.

The Goose was rebuilt in 2000 and has been meticulously maintained ever since, receiving a €2.3 million refit in 2013 and a full exterior repaint in 2018. She has had just two owners since new.

The Goose is now asking €3,250,000.

The classic yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests across five suites, comprised of a full-beam master stateroom with four en suite guest cabins below positioned forward for maximum comfort and minimum noise levels. Further accommodation can sleep a crew of five.

The Goose's country-style interior was conceived by H2 Yacht Design with walnut and ash wood panelling and fine fabrics. Offering ample exterior spaces, there's an expansive guest lounge and dining area on the bridge deck aft with an open sun deck for owners looking to make the most of warmer weather. Another guest area sits forward of the wheelhouse while a swim platform offers easy access to the sea.

Perfect for entertaining, The Goose can welcome up to 100 guests on board for static events.

Power comes from two 535.0hp Kelvin TBS-C8 diesel engines for a 5,500 nautical mile range.

The Goose is  now asking €3,250,000.
