The 50 metre Westport motor yacht Bacchus, listed for sale by Chris Daves of Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Peter Kehoe & Associates.
Bacchus was built in GRP by US yard Westport with delivery in 2009 and is ABS classed and MCA compliant. She had a notable refit period through 2013/14 where she had an aft bridge deck extension, a major upgrade on the sundeck to include a larger Jacuzzi, day head, and multiple sunbeds, plus a complete interior refit, as well as numerous smaller improvements.
Westport’s design and engineering teams collaborated with designer Donald Starkey and naval architect William Garden to develop a refined hull form for exceptional ocean-going performance, an accommodation plan that balances interior and on-deck spaces for maximum enjoyment and versatility, and contemporary styling.
A six-stateroom layout accommodates 12 guests with an on-deck full-beam master suite. An innovative arrangement includes a top-deck VIP suite with its own sun deck and a large formal dining room adjacent to the commercial-grade galley.
The centre buffet console found in the standard 50 metre Westport saloon layout has been removed, allowing this area a much more spacious and open feeling.
Her top speed is 24 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3,700 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 3,650hp MTU 16V4000M90 diesel engines.
Bacchus was asking $31,500,000.
