Brokerage market round-up: October 1-5, 2018

SALES

Eight yacht sales were announced during a busy week for the brokerage market. The total asking price was in excess of £22.9 million ($30.5 million), although the price of two yachts were withheld. The most expensive yacht was the 36.6 metre Miss Moneypenny which was sold by HMY Yacht Sales and Westport Yacht Sales with an asking price of $16.9 million.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Six price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week for a total reduction in excess of £7.1 million ($9.5 million). The biggest price drop was more than £2 million on 51.8 metre Oceanco Sunrise.

NEW LISTINGS

Seven new yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £122.7 million ($163.6 million), with the price of one yacht withheld. The most expensive new listing was the 66.25 metre Feadship Vanish, which is listed for sale with Burgess.
