This 37-metre sloop is the realization of a dream brought to life at the hands of Holland Jachtbouw in conjunction with British designer Bill Dixon. She is a state-of-the-art fast sailing sloop with a sophisticated yet uncomplicated interior by John Munford.

Her sleek decks, tall rig and powerful captive winches promise a true sailing experience. Weight was a key issue in her design and only the strongest and lightest modern materials were used throughout to guarantee great speeds in even the lightest of wind conditions.

Her uncluttered deck space provides an ample sunbathing terrace for lounging on padded sun mats with optional of shade provided by two large awnings built into the boom. Her fully automatic retractable bimini and dodger can provide shelter in the recessed center cockpit seating and dining area from both sun and spray.

Uncluttered flush decks have been achieved by using deck recessed Genoa tracks, in addition to semi recessed headsail furlers, which is further complimented by the ‘through hull’ anchor system and concealed hinges for hatches.

This low-profile, minimalist theme continues with the deck house, the concealed Bimini and dodger sprayhood system and travels right down to such items as the helm consoles where buttons are out and touch screen technology is very much in.

The performance mentioned above is the result of significant amounts of design time and tank testing to prove the concept and above the water a carefully thought through rig and sail inventory. The hull design has been optimized to ensure that the keel and ballast bulb provide the maximum lift, stability and efficiency. “A SULANA” is equipped with a large carbon rig, providing an excellent sail area/displacement ratio and she carries a non-overlap blade headsail for power and ease of handling, while a Genoa reacher makes the most of light airs.

The substantial aft boarding platform gives easy access to either board the vessel or to access to the water for swimming and watersports, whilst the fully articulated passerelle ensures that all guests can board her on the dock no matter the swell or the Clients mobility.

The interior layout is set out with the Owners and two guest cabins forward with the ample crew area set aft of the salon. This ensures the maximum amount of privacy for the guests whilst underway or at anchor as there is no reason to go forward, other than when requested.
