Leander G: Inside the 75 Metre Superyacht For Sale

The Aft Helipad

Delivered in 1993 by Peene-Werft, Leander G was built for Sir Donald Gosling, who welcomed a range of guests on board, including royalty. Sir Donald sold the yacht in 2016 and died in September last year at the age of 90.

The Cockpit

Leander G has had more than €25 million invested in upkeep under her current ownership, with both the 25 year and intermediary Lloyd's surveys completed in 2019. Other maintenance work includes upgrades to guest, crew and mechanical systems, as well as a full repaint carried out in 2018.

The Saloon

Since her delivery in 1993, Leander G has occasionally assumed the unofficial role of a royal yacht to senior members of the royal family. Leander G has hosted the Queen and Prince Philip on a tour of Great Britain and later hosted Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall in the Caribbean.

The Corridor

Leander G's power comes from two 3,600hp Deutz-MWM SBV12M628 diesel engines for a top speed of 18.5 knots and a maximum cruising range of 8,000 nautical miles at 14.5 knots.
