Arksen has teamed up with Ring Powercraft to present a new adventure power series to complement its superyacht explorer range.

Described as “designed to inspire the true explorer in all of us”, the power boat series ranges from 4.5 metres to 13.7 metres and is intended for a range of uses such as diving, expeditions and research.

The Arksen Adventure 45

Offered with a range of power and propulsion options, including outboards, stern drive and petrol, diesel and hybrid propulsion packages, the 45 has a range of up to 500 nautical miles and sprint speeds of over 45 knots.

Down below, the boat will feature a “spacious, protective cabin” with up to four berths. Elsewhere, the boat will feature a large exterior space with spacious stowage options.

The new range will be based on Ring Powercraft’s high performance hull design, which is currently used in commercial and military boats.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ring chief executive David Jackson said: “We are proud to be working with the Arksen team on this exciting new project to create a range of explorer craft.”

He added: “One of the key drivers for us, as we develop our eco-strategy, has been Arksen’s approach to sustainability. This platform will provide the opportunity to research and develop the practical application of eco-friendly bio, sustainable and recyclable materials for marine use, which can then be rolled out to our production processes.”

Arksen chief operating officer Ewan Hind said: “A year on from company launch and we’re delighted to return to boot Düsseldorf to unveil our line-up of new project developments.”
