Eighth Baglietto T52 yacht model launched and christened Marsa Luna

29 January 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Italian shipyard Baglietto has announced the launch of the eighth unit from its T52 yacht model. The 52-metre new build, now christened Marsa Luna, is the second from the series to feature an upgraded hybrid propulsion system.

The launch took place at the yard's facilities in La Spezia, attended by Baglietto management and the joint owner’s representative team comprising Kirill Kuatov of NAU Yachts and Aberton Yachts.

Francesco Paszkowski Design is responsible for the model's slender and sporty look, with highlights of the line ranging from an open stern with a three-level beach club to an almost 24-metre-long sundeck.

The T52 has become recognised for its signature aft profile, which, alongside the beach club, is characterised by a large pool on the main deck which can easily be concealed thanks to an up-down moving flooring system. This allows guests on board to extend the available deck surface when the pool is not being used to provide extra deck space for large parties. Another standout is the upper deck large windows, which open on three sides to provide a sheltered lounge area no matter the weather.

According to the yard, this specific unit retains a contemporary layout inside, prioritising volume, functionality and onboard liveability, in addition to "solutions conceived for practical and extended use".

The first unit from the model was launched in 2023

Marsa Luna's hybrid package allows a more efficient navigation mode, designed to reduce both costs and environmental impact. When cruising in electrical diesel mode, the yacht will be able to remain at anchor for up to 12 hours relying on the batteries only. Though she is also fitted with twin Caterpillar C32 engines for a traditional navigation mode capable of a 16-knot maximum speed and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro, the shipyard currently has 18 yachts on order or under construction. Two weeks ago, Baglietto unveiled a new flagship addition to its successful DOM superyacht line, the DOM155.
