Turkish shipyard Bering Yachts has marked a new milestone for its Superyacht division with the keel laying of the second hull in its flagship 50-metre Bering 165 series.
The ceremony follows the signing of a contract with a Singapore-based client, represented by Absolute Yacht Services Pte Ltd, and highlights continued demand for the model following the sale of the first unit earlier this year.

Measuring 50 metres with a nine-metre beam and 499GT, the Bering 165 has been developed as a long-range explorer yacht capable of transoceanic cruising. The model features exterior styling by Swiss studio Valentin Design, with naval architecture by Eureka Yachts, and a five-deck layout designed to maximise onboard volume while maintaining the shipyard’s focus on reliability and range.
The second hull has been customised to prioritise entertaining and social spaces. Key features include a large aft pool area on the main deck, complete with a swimming pool exceeding 20 square metres and two whirlpool tubs. A dedicated enclosed garage on the lower deck will house tenders and water toys, while additional onboard amenities include a panoramic gym and a lazarette configured for diving and snorkelling equipment.
Interiors for the second hull are being developed by Red Yacht Design, with a brief centred on flexibility between private and social use. According to the studio, the design will balance a calm, understated atmosphere with more dynamic spaces intended for hosting guests.
The Bering 165 is powered by twin Caterpillar engines and is expected to offer a cruising speed of 10 knots, a top speed of 15 knots and a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles at economical speed. The platform also allows for future integration of hybrid propulsion and battery systems.
This marks two new hulls from the Bering 165 series sold in 2026. According to BOATPro, the yard has seven yachts on order or in build, including the second hull of its rebranded 26.2-metre Bering 88 (B88) explorer yacht, which was launched earlier this year.
