Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts has announced the second and third superyachts in its 80m Bilgin 263 series are nearing completion.

The two yachts are sisterships to the first hull in the series, the 80m Tatiana. The second hull, which is already sold, is set to be launched in 2022 while the third will hit the water in 2023.

The Bilgin 263 features exterior design and naval architecture from Unique Yacht Design while the 1,689GT interior has been penned by H2 Yacht Design.

Accommodation on board for a total of 16 guests, in eight guest cabins, comprising a large private owner’s cabin, four guest cabins on the main deck and three VIP cabins on the lower deck.

Interior materials inside the “home away from home” interior include marble, leather, teak, and custom-made carpets. The beach club meanwhile has direct access to the main saloon.

The Bilgin 263 series is described as “eco-friendly” by the yard. Both Tatiana and the two sisterships feature SCR system connected to the main engines and generators and are IMO Tier III compliant.

Chief executive and founder of Unique Yacht Design Emrecan Özgün described the Bilgin 263 series as “truly one-of-a-kind”.

“We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding a high dosage of design clichés,” he said.

Powered by twin 2,560 kW engines, Tatiana can reach up to 19.3 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. While Bilgin said the second and third hull will feature the same performance as Tatiana, there are key differences.

The second hull will feature a different interior design in terms of colours and materials, as well as “golden touches” on the decks.

The third unit meanwhile has 20% larger volume in the interior and exterior areas, as well as an increased generator capacity. The interior configuration will also see the owner’s deck located above the main deck and the wheelhouse situation on the upper deck for better visibility.

Bilgin revealed it has an in-build 74 metre yacht due for delivery in 2023, while two more 50 metre yachts are due to launch in 2022.
