Palumbo Group's Columbus Yachts is building on the success of its recently launched 80 metre superyacht Dragon with a new 120 metre concept.
Designed by Hydro Tec, the new design is a “natural evolution” of Dragon, which was launched in March this year, the yard said.
Sporting “clean, crisp sweeping lines”, the concept blends “contemporary elements with classic proportions”.
The design features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with an exterior profile that “pays tribute to a bygone era of graceful ocean liners.”
Key features include a 19 metre beam, 260 square metre upper deck owner’s suite and a huge aft beach club.
Accommodation is for a total of 22 guests in 12 cabins, comprising 10 guest cabins on the main deck and the upper deck owner’s cabin. The owner’s cabin comes equipped with a private office, beauty room, massage room and private access to an outdoor lounge and Jacuzzi.
The beach club features a full spa, gym, bathing platform and covered swimming pool, complete with a waterfall.
It also includes a tender garage spacious enough to accommodate two custom designed tenders of around 12 metres, as well as a crew service RIB and array of smaller water toys.
The lower deck forward is dedicated to the crew quarters, comprising 20 double crew cabins, two messes and an independent galley. Two additional crew cabins sit forward of the main deck.
The new project will have a top speed of 20 knots and range of 7,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 16 knots.
