Construction Underway on Third Horizon FD102

Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts have announced that construction on the third FD102 hull is well underway.
Sold to experienced American owners in August 2019, the latest hull is on track for delivery in Summer 2020.
Measuring 31.69 metres, the FD102 is designed by in collaboration with Dutch studio Cor D Rover, and follows on from the Horizon FD85 series.
The third hull will feature a Skyline configuration with a four-cabin layout, including a full-beam main deck master suite. Meanwhile, the lower deck boasts a gym and three large staterooms, including a forward VIP.
Accessed through fully opening glass doors, the main saloon will feature an L-shaped sofa, a games table and a large dining table forward, which seats up to 10 guests and offers sea views afforded by floor-to-ceiling windows.
Al fresco dining can be found on the bridge deck, as well as an L-shaped sofa, grill, and an electric awning for shade. Below, the main aft deck features a U-shaped lounge area with additional freestanding seating and a bar with fixed stools.
The owners also requested a country kitchen layout and a foredeck area lounge area complete with a Jacuzzi.
The FD102 will have a top speed of 21.4 knots and power comes from two 1,600hp Caterpillar C-32-ACERT diesel engines.
