London-based studio coquine![design] has revealed renderings for a 99 metre DynaRig sailing yacht concept named Crystal.

The concept was created by Christian Leyk, creative director and partner at coquine![design], and conceived with a three-mast DynaRig sailing system seen on vessels such as Maltese Falcon and Black Pearl. This, paired with generous space above and below deck, makes the design ideal for comfortable transatlantic voyages.

The exterior trades flowing arches and curves for something bolder with distinct geometric windows that run the length of the yacht.

Accommodation for twelve guests can be found on board with a full-beam owner's suite finished with folding balconies. Elsewhere, Crystal is equipped with a wine cellar, swimming pool aft and vast lounge spaces on the main and upper deck for entertaining guests. Other highlights include a beach club, gym and garage for ample tenders and toys forward.

Crystal features a different styling approach, with varied areas for guests envisioned to ‘follow nature’ via natural light and strategic shading. The adaption of the DynaRig also means more time under sail than other conventional models. Alexandre Thiriat has been invited to design the interior of the project.

Elsewhere Christian Leyk has been busy working on a 49 metre explorer yacht Coba. In contrast, this concept places heavy emphasis on underwater exploration balanced by family-friendly amenities.
