Ferretti Group brand Custom Line has unveiled a fresh identity for its planing line, rebranding it as Saetta during a press conference at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Translating to "arrow" or "dart" in Italian, the name Saetta is a nod to the line’s sporty characteristics. The Italian yard also unveiled the latest addition to the series, the Saetta 128’ – a 39.8-metre tri-deck yacht that joins the existing 106’, 120’ and 140’ models.
Speaking at a press conference, Ferretti Group’s chief commercial officer, Giordano Pellacani, explained that the rebrand reflects the yard’s commitment to investing in the range. "The Navetta line is already well-known, and the Saetta line will be full of investments and new ideas," he said.
The new Saetta 128’ features exterior styling by SY Design and interiors by ACPV Architects. One of the yacht’s standout features is the fully openable skylounge on the upper deck, which connects directly to the aft al fresco dining area. At the stern, a "dual-mode transom" garage system integrates a floodable garage, submersible platform and beach area into a single system.
The foredeck spans 25 square metres and offers a flexible seating area with a Jacuzzi, while enlarged glazing on both the main and lower decks floods the interiors with natural light. Accommodation is spread across five cabins, including a main deck owner’s suite with a walk-around bed, plus four crew cabins.
Key specs include a beam of 7.7 metres and a draught of 2.1 metres, with a cruising speed of 19 knots, a top speed of 22 knots and a range of 1,000 nautical miles.
According to BOATPro, Custom Line currently has five other Saetta models on order, comprising two 106’ units, a 120’ and two 140’ models.
