Dutch shipyard Feadship has announced that its 101.2-metre superyacht Project 1014 has begun sea trials in the North Sea.
The update comes almost two months after the mammoth new build was launched from the shipyard's facilities in Makkum, the Netherlands, on 1 April. The highly secretive project was seen entering the same sheds in November 2024 for outfitting and had only been sighted a handful of times since construction began in early 2023.
At her launch, the shipyard unveiled British studio RWD as the designer behind her exterior, with naval architecture developed by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture. Her interior (which remains private) is also from RWD, in collaboration with Parisian studio Chahan Interior Design.
A dark, navy-blue hull and tall white superstructure characterise Project 1014, with her profile defined by generous overhangs, a broad, classic bow and sculptural hull windows. The shipyard also drew attention to the subtle brass detailing that lies across her profile, which has been included for "warmth and refinement".
The new build's curved, uninterrupted exterior lines invite comparison to earlier Feadship builds, including Tango and Defy, as well as Sophia (ex Faith) and her recent predecessor, Faith, both of which were also penned by RWD.
Her main deck aft is home to a large, glass-bottomed pool, which filters light into the beach club (with its multiple fold-down balconies) below.
A generous helipad is located on the foredeck, while crowning the superyacht is a forward-facing Jacuzzi and an interior living area with additional curved windows. The superyacht is believed to have a volume of 3,840GT, according to BOATPro. All other details remain private.

According to BOATPro, Feadship has 17 yachts on order or currently under construction, with Project 1014 being the second-largest. The Dutch yard's new 140-metre flagship is also in build - the bow of which was sighted by yacht spotters for the first time last month.
