A 25 metre motor yacht, believed to be a popular Ferretti 830 model, has been spotted submerged off Chub Cay in the Bahamas.
The pictures were captured by a passing vessel and posted on social media to warn fellow boaters of the hazard. It is understood that the vessel struck a reef in a shallow area of Chub Cay and began to sink. Four people were rescued and no one is believed to be injured.

The Ferretti 830 series were designed by Zuccon International Project with naval architecture by the shipyard's in-house engineering department.
The 25 metre Peer Gynt motor yacht Adamo suffered a similar fate near Chub Cay in April 2021 after hitting a reef and sinking off close by.
