Italian shipyard Baglietto has announced the launch of the ninth unit from its T52 series. The sporty, 52-metre new build, known only as hull 10261, hit the water at a private ceremony attended by her owner at the shipyard’s facilities in La Spezia last week.
The yacht marks the second new build signed with Aberton Yachts, which acted as project manager during construction, and follows the eighth hull in the line, Marsa Luna, which was launched in January.
Designed with "close contact with the sea" in mind, the T52's exterior is owed to Francesco Paszkowski, with interiors styled in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. The T52's main highlight is its open stern, three-level beach club, which has become a "hallmark of Baglietto's new course". Here, the yacht's swimming pool can easily be concealed thanks to an up-and-down moving flooring system, further extending the available deck surface when the pool is not in use.
On the upper deck, floor-to-ceiling windows are openable on three sides, creating an "al fresco" lounge arranged with both a conversation and dining area. The sundeck measures approximately 24 metres, with the shipyard describing it as "unmatched on a vessel of this size" and inspired by Baglietto's traditional displacement yachts.

"Every launch is a particularly meaningful moment for everyone involved, as it brings together the expertise, dedication and passion invested in a project. With this ninth unit, the T52 offers another expression of a design that combines a strong identity with the freedom to create a yacht tailored to the owner’s aspirations," said Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto. "This is central to Baglietto’s approach: working closely with each client and our design partners to turn an individual vision into reality."
Hull nine is equipped with two MTU 12V2000 M86 engines, expected to propel her to a maximum speed of 17 knots.
According to BOATPro, Baglietto has 17 yachts currently under construction, including the second and third units from its flagship T60 series. The launch follows a strong presence for Baglietto at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show, where it presented the first T60, Kinda II, and the first unit from its Fast50 series to the industry.
