Italian yard Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has launched the fifth unit in its Oceano 50 series. The yacht, named Felicità, now joins sisterships such as Eternity, Dokinha and Maverick on the water.
A popular full-displacement series, the Mangusta Oceano 50 is the joint work of Italian designer Alberto Mancini, Pierluigi Ausonio and Overmarine Group's technical department. The model is the flagship of the Oceano line at 49.9 metres, with this unit sold by Moran Yacht & Ship at a last known asking price of €37,500,000.
The Mangusta Oceano 50 is replete with outdoor spaces, seen best in her beach area – which develops over three on-water terraces – and her long, uncluttered foredeck with its fixed and modular seating. Dining and sunbathing areas can be found on the upper and sundeck, as well as two panoramic pools: the first, on the upper deck, measures 6.5 metres and is fitted with a counterflow swimming system, while the sundeck option benefits from a breathtaking "infinity" view.
Interior details are undisclosed but have been fully customised by the owner. A five-cabin configuration has been chosen for this unit, comprising four guest cabins and a main deck owner's cabin with an automatically operated balcony overlooking the sea. Other highlights include a full-beam gym on the lower deck and floor-to-ceiling glazing throughout.
Powered by twin MTU engines, the Mangusta Oceano 50 can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots.
This year, Mangusta Yachts celebrated the delivery of the 44.5-metre The Great Escape and announced the sale of a seventh Oceano 50 unit, known only as Project Nexus.
