This time it's the turn of Overmarine to announce a new launch following the one of the 30th Mangusta 108 some weeks ago. The first Mangusta 94 open yacht hit the water yesterday.
Built in composite, the 28.72m Mangusta 94 is an evolution of the successful Mangusta 92 series. She is designed by Stefano Righini in collaboration with the in-house team. Larger windows and skylights bring more natural light inside, and note also the presence of a sundeck and a bow cockpit.
Following the wishes of the owner, the interior, designed by Peter Marino, accommodates just four guests in two cabins. The full-beam master suite now has new large windows, a detail destined to become a standard on all future Mangusta models.
Powered by twin 1,940kW MTU engines, the Mangusta 94 achieves a top speed of 38 knots and a range of 280 nautical miles at a more economical speed. And to improve the comfort, this new model is fitted with gyroscopic stabilizers.
The first Mangusta 94 open yacht will be delivered this summer, while the second hull is already scheduled for a launch in June. As a reminder: both hulls were ordered in 2012.
