Otam has released interior imagery of the first unit in its flagship 90 GTS series, the 27-metre Sexy Me. This follows her delivery to an "experienced owner" in July 2024, after which she made her debut at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival.
The flagship of the yard’s Fast and Iconic series is said to have a "big-boat mentality", with a compact footprint and loadline measuring under 24 metres. The hull is made entirely with Aramat, a multi-layer composite fabric combining glass fibre and Kevlar for optimal stiffness, while the hard top is made with carbon fibre.
The Otam 90 GTS series is fully customisable at the engineering level, with options that include a hard top or soft top, full or half-height side windows, with or without a side passage door and a single or double hull window for the master suite. Sexy Me is the semi-open version, devised to accommodate a large number of guests on board.
Exterior styling is owed to Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design Firm in close collaboration with Otam. This has resulted in a build "rich in custom design details", including a helm console inspired by the world of F1 racing cars.
Accommodation comprises a full-beam master suite, VIP cabin and guest cabin. There is also a lounge, a daybed and an office space below deck, while the main deck features a convivial cockpit with an opening hard top, as well as a large sunbathing area aft and a bathing platform. Further space for dining and relaxing can be found forward of this.
"This project is generating a lot of interest because of her performance, the flexibility our custom approach offers and the fact that the yacht comes under the simpler regulations for vessels under 24 metres,” said Matteo Belardinelli, Otam’s sales and communications manager. “The Otam 90 GTS is yet another example of our mission to build extraordinary, high-performance yachts that are tailored to each owner’s personal requirements. We firmly believe that this bespoke approach is the highest expression of luxury.”
Sexy Me achieved a top speed of 45.4 knots during sea trials, surpassing the contractual maximum of 42 knots.
According to BOATPro, the Otam 80HT is currently also under construction and will be delivered in time for the 2025 Mediterranean season.
