Dutch yard Heesen Yachts has announced that Project Frida, the latest unit in its 55-metre Steel series, is now in her "final outfitting stages". The yacht was launched from the yard's facilities in Oss, the Netherlands, this August and is available for sale ahead of her February 2026 delivery slot.
According to the yard, Project Frida capitalises on the comprehensive data and results gained from sistership Agnetha's build, including her "rigorous sea trials".
"[Project Frida] has proven once again that Heesen 55m Steel class delivers robust and reliable yachts," added a yard spokesperson. "She represents an ideal proposition for an owner who wishes to purchase a turn-key yacht, guaranteeing a seamless and stress-free ownership experience from the very first day on board."

Italian studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture has opted for rich, warm materials in the living spaces, including nature wengé wood. The full-beam owner's apartment benefits from rarer materials, such as the Calcite Blue stone in the en suite, alongside a private study and veranda. Four guest cabins are accommodated on the lower deck, with a versatile fifth cabin placed on the bridge deck.
"Project Frida's interior is designed for those who appreciate fine craftsmanship and a connection to the sea," explained designer Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Architecture. "It’s a modern interpretation of classic yachting luxury. We are incredibly excited to work with the future owner to select the final decorative touches that will bring their personal vision to life, creating a truly bespoke and inviting home on the water."
At 55 metres, Project Frida's exterior spaces are plentiful, spanning a sundeck with a large whirlpool, bar and multiple lounge areas, a skylounge that connects to an aft terrace and the beach club, which provides direct access to the water from the large swim platform.
The yacht meets "the highest commercial standards" of the Large Yacht Code 3, powered by twin Rolls-Royce MTY 8V engines for a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. A Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system ensures full compliance with IMO Tier III emission regulations.
According to BOATPro, Heesen has eight superyacht projects on order or actively under construction, the largest of which is the 57-metre, full-custom Project Setteesettanta.
