Horizon Yachts sells first FD75 Skyline to Australia

Horizon Yachts has announced the first sale of its FD75 entry-level fast-displacement hull into Australia.

The yacht is the fourth FD75 hull to leave the Taiwanese shipyard and the first in the series to be built with an enclosed sky lounge 'Skyline' configuration. She was sold by Horizon Yacht Australia to experienced owners with an "active cruising lifestyle", the yard said.

The FD75 features the signature styling of Cor D. Rover and the owners worked in close collaboration with Horizon Yacht Australia and the yard's in-house design team to create a "sophisticated and modern interior".

The owners requested a three-cabin layout comprised of a full-beam master suite and two full-beam guest suites on the lower deck, all with en suite bathrooms.

The main deck aft houses an al fresco dining area - one of three dining spots on board - and leads into an open plan main saloon with an L-shaped sofa to starboard and a full-beam country-style galley forward.

The interior makes use of satin Acacia wood with marble stonework throughout. A slatted feature wall divides the galley area from the forward master suite, which is accessed via three steps. A second floating staircase leads up to the sky lounge and helm station.

Other features include a sun lounge hidden in the bow of the boat and storage for a tender aft. The FD75 Skyline has now arrived in Australia ahead of delivery.
