Sunbeam

The third yacht launched by ICON Yachts recently hit the water, the 43m project Sunbeam.

Based on a 40m series of semi-displacement superyachts styled by Cayros Yacht Design, Sunbeam started her life at Kaiserwerft like her sisters Catwalk (2006) and Cloud 9 (2007). However, unlike her predecessors, Sunbeam's composite hull and superstructure were transfered to the ICON shipyard for completion, a decision by Mega Marine, the client's representative.

ICON Yachts has also released further news: the fourth project, Midlandia, is now scheduled for early 2013, the CMN_Slipstream_ is at the yard for a painjob refit, a refit in collaboration with Balk Shipyard, plus an ecouraging recent signature of a letter of intent for a new construction concept based on the Icon 62.
