New 68m ISA Gran Turismo yacht sold to American client

13 January 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Italian yard ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the sale of a new, 68-metre ISA Gran Turismo superyacht to an American client. Delivery is scheduled for 2028.

Design for the steel and aluminium new build is from Studio Vallicelli for the exterior, while Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi has been selected for the interiors. The 68-metre has been penned as an "emblem of sportiness and elegance" in line with ISA's design principles, drawn with notable brand elements including arches connecting the three decks and a circular, main deck dining area.

The shipyard noted that its 66.4-metre motor yacht Okto, delivered in 2014, inspired the new build; it will be the fourth unit to combine timeless lines, full customisation and a strong identity shaped around its owner’s vision.

“We extend our sincere thanks to the owner for the trust placed in Palumbo Superyachts," said Palumbo Superyachts sole director, Giuseppe Palumbo. "This new agreement represents a meaningful recognition of the path our shipyard has taken and of the value expressed by the projects delivered to date."

Conceived to enhance the connection to the sea, the yacht will feature a beach club dedicated to wellness and socialising. Fitted with opening platforms to expand the space outwards, the space also has a gym, lounge area and spa. Aft, a swimming pool flanked by a lounge completes the outdoor experience.

Accommodation is for up to 14 guests and a crew of 14. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, comprising three doubles and one twin, while the remaining three cabins – two doubles and a forward-positioned owner’s suite – are situated on the main deck. Designed to take full advantage of the yacht’s maximum beam, the suite features a dressing area, an en suite with double sinks and a shower and a private lounge area with a desk.

Power will be from twin MTU engines, each delivering 1,771 kW, expected to deliver a top speed of 17.5 knots and an approximate 5,000-nautical-mile range at a 14-knot cruising speed.

According to BOATPro, ISA Yachts has 14 yachts currently under construction or on order. The largest of which is its 100-metre flagship, scheduled for delivery in 2029.
