Launch of superyacht Blue Berry by Benetti Sail Division captured on video

29 May 2014

This video montage shows Benetti Sail Division launching Blue Berry, its 33m 108 RS motor yacht.

Previously known as the Benetti Sail Division 105, the steel and aluminium displacement yacht is a development of the canoe stern yachts that the yard is well-known for, but she boasts smoother styling and a more contemporary interior than many previous designs. Blue Berry was designed by Massimo and Verme, with naval architecture by CLM.

The yacht's exterior deck spaces include the main aft deck, which offers a dining table for 10, while up top the sun deck features a spa pool and retractable hard-top. There are also ample sunbathing areas in front of the wheelhouse, as well as a helm station in the open air on the flybridge. *Blue Berry *is believed to accommodate 10 guests in five cabins and up to six crewmembers. The owner’s suite is forward on the main deck and features 180-degree views, while two VIPs and two twin cabins are laid out on the lower deck.

This family yacht is expected to have explorer capabilities, with MAN 1,000hp engines and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots or 1,900 nautical miles at 12.7 knots.
