The 117-metre Lürssen superyacht Boardwalk (previously Project 13797) has departed the yard's facilities in Lemwerder, Germany, en route to sea trials in the North Sea. The new build was spotted leaving the German shed in the early hours of this morning (3 March).
The update follows the yacht's launch in December, with delivery slated in Q2 of 2026, according to BOATPro.
A blend of European craftsmanship and American design, Boardwalk was commissioned in 2022 by an American owner who, according to the yard, was "deeply involved throughout the design process, contributing to everything from the general arrangement and onboard flow to the interior and exterior styling". The yacht's classical lines and timeless interior are the work of Frank Woll and Amy Halffman.

Designed as a family retreat on the water, Boardwalk's expansive decks welcome an array of entertainment areas, two helipads – one of which is certified and positioned forward on the guest deck – a sizeable beach club, large pool and adjoining spa pool on the aft deck. According to the yard, a putting green and a spacious gym are also offered inside.
Further details of the new build have been kept tightly under wraps, though her name suggests she is the successor to the 76.5-metre Feadship yacht Boardwalk (now Boardwalk V), which entered the market in September. Before that, the same owner had a Westport 164, also called Boardwalk, now known as Night Howl.
