The 145-metre Lürssen superyacht Project Luminance has been spotted leaving the yard as she heads out on sea trials.
Construction on the mammoth project began in 2018 but few details have been revealed since. She is ranked number 11 in the largest yachts in the world and is the seventh-largest project ever built by Lürssen.
Exterior design is the work of Espen Øino and marks the 30th collaboration between the designer and the shipyard. The pair have worked on numerous 100-metre-plus projects including the 136-metre Flying Fox, 156-metre Dilbar and 135.5-metre Crescent. Interior design is the work of Francois Zuretti but details remain a closely guarded secret.
Project Luminance is expected to be delivered later this year.
Other major projects currently underway at Lürssen include the 122-metre Project Jag, also due for delivery in 2023 and the 142-metre Project Alibaba.
The movement of Project Luminance comes after fellow Lürssen Project 1601 began transmitting as Norn ahead of delivery later this month.
