Maiora reveals new 30m project ahead of Cannes Yachting Festival

5 September 2025 • Written by Holly Margerrison

Maiora, a brand of NEXT Yacht Group, is set to expand its M line with a new 30.4-metre model, the M|30. The Italian yard will present a preview of the yacht at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, with the first unit scheduled for delivery in summer 2026.

The yacht follows the success of the Maiora 30 – and builds on its predecessor’s strengths with an updated exterior profile, more versatile interiors and enhanced guest spaces. Measuring 7.5 metres at the beam, the three-deck yacht will offer accommodation for up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest suites below.

This is the third project to emerge from Maiora’s ongoing collaboration with Quartostile studio and Acube Design – a trio responsible for the M|36 and the refit of the 36 Exuma. The new design aims to balance sleek, coupé-like lines with generous volumes.

Distinctive features include a slender superstructure forward, large full-height windows and glass bulwarks to create a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces.

Interiors by Acube Design favour an organic, soft aesthetic with natural materials and abundant light. On the main deck, the main saloon has been designed for flexible use, while the owner’s suite forward includes a walk-in wardrobe, a large en suite with windows and a transverse desk that can double as a breakfast nook or home office.

The upper deck offers additional custom layouts and a separate wheelhouse. Further quarters for a crew of five are located aft of the lower deck.

Outdoor living is a key focus of the new model. The stern beach club has been enlarged and reconfigured as an “al fresco veranda” connected to the main deck, and the sundeck has been reshaped to encourage conviviality. Meanwhile, the upper deck retains Maiora’s popular WalkAround concept with step-free passageways.

Elsewhere, a bow garage can be used to store toys or converted into a pool and sunbathing area. A signature light strip along the hull echoes the styling of the M|36.

Maiora added that its presence at Cannes is part of parent company Next Yacht Group’s wider strategy to strengthen its European footprint. The Group has described the launch of the M|30 as part of its “Renaissance” process, intended to redefine standards in contemporary Italian yacht design with a blend of innovation, comfort and aesthetics.

According to BOATPro, Maiora currently has five superyachts in build. The largest of which is the first unit in the yard's new 42-metre superyacht model, the Maiora 42 Exuma, which was unveiled in July.
