First look inside latest Numarine 37XP yacht model Orpheus

British studio Sturge & Toth has offered a first look inside the 37.2-metre Orpheus, which was launched from Numarine's facilities in Kocaeli, Turkey, earlier this year. The yacht belongs to the second-largest model in the Numarine fleet, the 37XP, which began in 2021 with the launch of Alaia.

Orpheus is characterised by a full displacement steel hull for long-range and offshore cruising, with Umberto Tagliavini responsible for naval architecture, Can Yalman behind the exterior and Sturge & Toth leading interior design. A standout feature is the flybridge, which measures just under 10 metres and offers 83 square metres of open space. The upper-deck VIP suite is also worthy of note, featuring a private terrace, as is the main saloon for its panoramic views.

The yacht was launched in March 2025

"The owner came to this as a first-time yacht buyer, but with a very clear eye for design and a strong expectation for quality," explained Toby Sturge, co-founder of Sturge & Toth. He added that the interiors had been finished around a philosophy of "quiet luxury", incorporating soft natural textures, tonal layering and "considered lighting" to replace the nautical language often seen in superyacht interiors.

The owner's clear vision also meant that the studio could provide several custom elements, including bespoke cabinetry and metal details, which are "more commonly found on 50-metre-plus custom yachts". The result is a yacht optimised for future charter operations or resale appeal.

Accommodation is across six guest cabins, including a main deck master suite and the aforementioned upper deck VIP cabin. The latter benefits from an aft-facing bed and direct access to a terrace that can be configured as a place for sunbathing, outdoor sports, parties or underway tender storage.

Another al fresco space is the beach club, designed with a bathing platform and a water-level lounge.

Orpheus has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at eight knots, which "places her on par with the world's best expedition yachts" in her class, according to the yard.

According to BOATPro, Orpheus is one of nine 37XP models on the water. A popular model, the 37XP was usurped by a new flagship this year, with the delivery of Miouch in August 2025.
