Oceanstyle by Burgess has been appointed as central agent for the sale of Otam’s 30.5m sports yacht Millennium, currently in build at the Italian yard.
Available for delivery in 2015, Millennium was designed by an impressive team - Umberto Tagliavini did the naval architecture, Alberto Mancini did the exterior design, and Achille Salvagni is responsible for the interior design. All of the design work has been undertaken in close cooperation with the technical and design departments at Otam.
The hull is designed for high speed, even in rough seas, whilst ensuring those on board remain comfortable at all times. Twin 2,600hp MTU engines, running Arneson surface-drives, will generate speeds of 40 knots. There is a triple-engine option which should push the top speed up to 47 knots.
The yacht will be classified under the RINA Charter Classification and accommodates eight guests in a full-width owner's suite, a VIP double forward, and two twin cabins. An optional layout offers two doubles in the space where the owner's suite would normally be.
