Ocean Independence has alerted us of the sale of 70.1m superyacht Reverie, jointly listed with Burgess and Merle Wood & Associates, while Craig Tafoya of Penumbra Marine brought the buyer in this sale.

Reverie is a 70.1m full-displacement motor yacht buit by Benetti and launched in 2000. Naval architecture is in-house by Benetti while her exterior styling is courtesy designer Stefano Natucci and interior design is by John Munford. A popular charter yacht, Reverie accommodates 12 guests in eight staterooms for charter with two supernumerary cabins available for personal staff. An attractive feature is her ability to accommodate 18 to 24 guests during private use.

An entire deck is dedicated to owner use, which includes a spacious master suite with panoramic views forward, a private terrace, his-and-hers bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. The owner's deck also hosts two family cabins outfitted with a double and single bed in each, a study, a dedicated owner's saloon and a circular-shaped indoor/outdoor dining area.

Powered by twin 2,000hp Caterpillar 3516B-DITA engines, Reverie achieves a top speed of 15.5 knots, cruises at 14 knots and has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Reverie was located in the Mediterranean at the time of her sale, and she was asking $49,500,000.
