Italian studio PC Design has revealed its latest concept, a 24.8 metre cruiser called Project Italia.
Designed by Mattia Piro and Matteo Cappellazzo, this sleek, speedy design is described as a hyper yacht, due to its fast cruising speed of 46 knots and estimated top speed of 60 knots.
Accommodation is for just four guests and two crew, making life on board Project Italia an exclusive experience, although there is plentiful deck space for hosting up to 16 guests during the day.
Key features include gullwing doors that open up to reveal a par of Jet Skis, while the lower-deck lounging area features a superyacht spa pool, cocktail bar and extensive seating space.
The studio describes the interior of this wild superyacht design as “simple, chic and beautifully lit”, with a choice of variable lighting schemes in the two en-suite bathrooms on board.
Power would come from a pair of 1,925hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines paired to twin-disc Arneson 14 surface drives. This powerful set-up would be visible from the main deck thanks to inlaid glass in the teak decking.
As the video above shows, Project Italia would cut quite an impressive figure out on the open water, with the surface drives kicking up an enormous wake. With a total fuel capacity of 6,000 litres, Project Italia has a maximum cruising range of 425 nautical miles, ideal for exploring the Italian coastline.
