Italian shipyard Pershing, a brand of Ferretti Group, has announced the launch of the third unit in its flagship Pershing 140 series.
The 43.4-metre all-aluminium yacht was the first Pershing model to launch at Ferretti Group's new Superyacht Yard in Ancona, which is designed for yachts of over 40 metres in length.
The design of the yacht is a collaboration between architect Fulvio De Simoni, Ferretti Group’s strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group Engineering Department. It aims to align with the iconic aesthetics of Pershing, with a sporty character and contemporary lines.
The yacht's owner has made considerable customisations to the yacht, including a “professional winery” in the bow and a bar area in the saloon hidden behind doors that is only visible when in use. Other highlights include the two side wings incorporated into the superstructure attached to walkways.
Utilising Pershing’s interior design throughout, neutral colour tones, lead-coloured wood and light greys have been selected alongside white lacquer that emphasises the feeling of space. Furnishings have been sourced from brands such as Poltrona Frau, Minotti, Artemide, Roche Bobois, Molteni and Fontana Arte.
The full-beam master suite is accessed through a private office and lounge area. The suite includes a walk-in wardrobe and a sizeable ensuite equipped with a steam shower. The master ensuite is decorated in line with the other ensuites, complete with mosaics and mother-of-pearl lacquer.
The sundeck plays host to a bar, sunbathing area and second helm station, while the beach club located aft provides easy access to the sea alongside stowage space with a selection of water toys.
Power comes from four MTU engines with a rapid top speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots.
This latest launch joins sisterships Chorusline and Touch Me on the water.
