Italian shipyard Rossinavi has announced the launch of a 52.7-metre superyacht project from its facilities in Pisa. Previously known only as hull FR052, the full-custom yacht has now been revealed for the first time as Heed.
Details of the new build have remained highly secretive throughout construction, which, according to BOATPro, began in January 2024. Now, the shipyard has announced that the fast-displacement superyacht features an all-aluminium construction, with exterior design and naval architecture by Alberto Mancini and interiors penned by Achille Salvagni Architetti.
According to the shipyard, Heed was born from a "close and energetic" relationship with her owner, who was represented by Matty Zadnikar of SeaNet SuperYachts.
The exterior design of Heed balances clean architectural lines and understated volumes, which have been drawn to "remain elegant at rest and dynamic underway". A metallic grey hull completes her sculpted geometric profile.
Key features of the custom build include an aft beach club with a pool and fold-down side platforms for an expansive social space close to the water, and an observation deck designed as a lookout point for elevated views and a quiet space to relax.
Inside, a spacious, fully-glazed main saloon marks the convivial area on board, leading out to a panoramic dining area on the aft deck equipped with a starboard-side fold-down balcony for an al fresco dining experience. Above, the upper deck is dedicated to the owner, with a forward owner’s suite taking full advantage of the elevated panoramic views. A private outdoor lounge and a forward pool with counter current complete the private deck.
"Working within the 499GT threshold allowed us to rethink proportion and space with greater freedom," explained Alberto Mancini Yacht Design founder, Alberto Mancini. "Placing the owner’s suite forward on the upper deck creates a quieter, more intimate connection with the sea, while the metallic grey hull reveals the beauty of the yacht’s clean, sculpted surfaces through a delicate play of light and shadow throughout the day.”
“It has been an extremely stimulating project, one that will truly leave its mark on the market," said chief operating officer of Rossinavi, Federico Rossi. "With generous open spaces, a panoramic owner’s cabin and a large pool, it is a yacht designed to be lived on, where functionality leads without compromising on style."
Heed also features an onboard battery system for operation at anchor with the generators switched off for a quiet and peaceful onboard experience. Key specs include a 9.1-metre beam and a draught of 2.5 metres. Rossinavi unveiled a new, 47-metre project known as Berserk 47 early last year.
