Seventh Amels 60 superyacht moves to outfitting

15 February 2024 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Damen Yachting has announced that the seventh hull in its Amels 60 series has arrived in Vlissingen for outfitting. Works will take place over the coming year, with delivery scheduled for spring 2025.

The latest Amels 60 joins a number of her siblings as well as an Amels 200 and the first Amels 80 at the shipyard. The model's distinctive look, characterised by geometric windows, is designed by Espen Øino while her undisclosed interiors are owed to Harrison Eidsgaard. Damen Yachting is responsible for the series' naval architecture. Accommodation will be for up to 12 guests and 12 crew, not including the captain.

"The arrival of this latest Amels 60 perfectly expands on our yacht-building heritage which dates back long before the introduction of the original Amels Limited Editions Classics," said a Damen Yachting spokesperson. "The Amels 6007 exemplifies the success and endurance of our evolution and as she takes her place alongside her siblings, we extend a warm welcome to the newest member of the Damen Yachting family."

According to BOATPro, Amels has 11 yachts currently under construction.

The news follows the delivery of Satemi, the fourth hull in the Amels 60 series.
