Third Tankoa T450 superyacht moves to outfitting in Genoa

The third unit in Tankoa's T450 series has arrived at the Italian shipyard's headquarters in Genoa, where she will begin outfitting. According to BOATPro, delivery is scheduled for 2026.

The latest hull from the series was captured during a two-day voyage from Civitavecchia to Genoa in Italy, revealing her bare red hull and three-deck superstructure. Additional production activities, including the installation of machinery, were completed on-site in Civitavecchia prior to the yacht's transport to Genoa.

Italian design studio Giorgio M. Cassetta is responsible for both the exterior and interior design of the T450 series. The first unit from the model, Go, was delivered at this time last year, while the second unit, Singolare, celebrated her launch this past week

Model highlights have been known to include a hydromassage tub and shaded dining area on the sundeck, as well as a beach club with opening side platforms that wrap around the stern.

The 45-metre new build marks a "significant step" in Tankoa Yachts' broader strategy for growth and development, as the first hull to be built at its new production site in Civitavecchia, south of the yard's headquarters.

According to Tankoa, approximately €5 million has been invested in the site, which currently has four yachts under construction. The move also aims to strengthen Civitavecchia's reputation as a hub for high-end yacht construction, having been developed in close collaboration with the local authorities.

The second T450 yacht, Singolare, was launched earlier this month

"This first transfer is a tangible step in our long-term commitment to Civitavecchia," said Tankoa Yachts CEO, Vincenzo Poerio. "We immediately recognised the potential of this area. The next step is to develop the supply chain, so we can create an efficient production hub that brings value to the region and to Italy's entire yacht-building industry."

The news comes at a busy period for Tankoa Yachts, with BOATPro indicating 11 superyacht projects currently in development. Among them are two 55-metre yachts in the yard's T55 Sportiva range, Loewe and Rose, both of which were launched earlier this year.
