The keel has been laid on The Italian Sea Group's (TISG) 53-metre hybrid Admiral model. The semi-custom superyacht is the third unit from the Panorama line but the first to be equipped with hybrid propulsion.
The 499GT yacht was sold in 2023 to a client from Mexico, with FGI Yacht Group representing the buyer. Delivery is expected for the first half of 2026.
Designed with the environment in mind, the all-aluminium yacht is powered by an "innovative" hybrid e-Motion propulsion system. The two diesel MAN engines have been paired with electric alternators and lithium polymer batteries, enabling the yacht to run in hotel model for several hours with zero emissions, limiting vibration and noise.
"The keel laying ceremony is a special moment in the construction of a yacht that begins to take concrete shape," said Giovanni Costantino, TISG founder & CEO. "This superyacht credits our constant and continuous research into sustainability towards navigation with almost non-existent emissions, both at sea and in the atmosphere."
Harmony with nature continues into the design, with "elegant fluidity" combining the interior and exterior, ensuring plenty of natural light filters throughout the living spaces.
Natural materials have been selected for the interiors, consisting of wood, stones and rough metals. The Panorama model can accommodate 12 guests across six cabins comprising five suites on the lower deck forward, while an owner’s suite is found on the main deck with a panoramic view from a private terrace.
The yacht has space for a 7.5-metre tender plus two Jet Skis, a rescue boat and several other water toys carried in the bow garage in front of the wheelhouse.
According to BOATPro, the Admiral brand has 17 yachts either actively in construction or on order. TISG also recently announced the addition of a 40-metre model to its Admiral line, known as Quaranta.
